Website terms
These terms cover this website and explain the planned FactRift audit. FactRift is run by Cedar Metric LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

This website
FactRift is still in development. This website explains the product and lets you contact us. You cannot buy an audit or create an account here.
The example on the homepage is made up. It shows how a finding will look, rather than a report about a real business.
Using the website
You may browse this website and contact us with questions. Do not disrupt the website, try to access it without permission, send harmful files, or use our identity to mislead people.
The FactRift name, logo, and original website content belong to Cedar Metric LLC. A link to another website does not mean its owner endorses FactRift.
The planned audit
The first audits will be available by invitation. Each audit will cover up to 100 public HTML pages on one main website and up to two approved documentation or help sites owned by the same company.
The founder will finish and review the report before inviting a company to buy access. We will verify that the customer is authorized to act for the company before checkout. Once payment is confirmed, the report will be available immediately.
- Each finding will show both statements, source links, dates, and relevant context.
- The report will list pages checked, skipped, or unavailable.
- Customers will be able to mark findings as Needs fixing, Intentional difference, or Finding incorrect.
- The audit will check the website once. It will not include a subscription or repeat checks.
These describe the planned service. Final purchase terms will be available before checkout opens. Emailing us does not buy or reserve a report.
What the audit can and cannot do
FactRift will look for facts that conflict on a company’s public website and documentation. We will show why two statements appear to disagree, without choosing which one is correct.
We will not bypass access restrictions, check private content, edit websites, or contact other publishers. We cannot promise to find every contradiction, avoid every mistake, find a set number of issues, or increase revenue.
Customers must be authorized to act for the websites included in the audit. These terms do not give permission to ignore another website’s rules or access restrictions.
Planned access and refunds
Customers will keep access to their report and assessments while their account and report data are retained. Deletion requests, required recordkeeping, service availability, or account closure for abuse may affect access.
The planned guarantee allows a full audit refund if requested within seven calendar days after the report first becomes available following payment. We will initiate approved refunds within five business days. A full refund will remove access to that report.
The final purchase terms will explain taxes, any unavoidable bank or currency fees, and exceptions required by law before payment.
